Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
hey guys so I actually just finished this book and I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to th next one coming out :)
Synopsis:
Anna: Anna can see peoples emotions, like a colorful cloud surrounding their bodies. The deep red of lust, the soft pink of love, even the ugly green of greed. She also has heightened sense stretching to miles and miles away. She's got the best of both worlds, literally, her mom was an angel, and her father a demon. Nobody knows what she can do, not until she meets Kaiden. Raised to be a good girl, get good grades, and pray every night, Kaiden's personality is such a startling difference.
Kaiden: Kaiden has been on his own for a while. Tavling with his band as the sexy and untouchable drummer. Kaiden's job is to influence humans to indulge in their deepest desires, and he does a damn good job at it.
yea so I definitely recommend this book. Its such a page turner and i couldn't put it down. Later guys!! As always follow and comment down below!
Synopsis:
Embrace the Forbidden
What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?
This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.
Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?
My thoughts: Honestly, i thought this was one of the most interesting books I've ever read. Like not only was it entertaining but I learned a lot about the sins and angels and demons and yea, I feel like I got kinda smarter from it. Also, it's pact full of romance, friendship, and the battle between good and evil. I think just about anybody would like it.
Characters:
Kaiden: Kaiden has been on his own for a while. Tavling with his band as the sexy and untouchable drummer. Kaiden's job is to influence humans to indulge in their deepest desires, and he does a damn good job at it.

Death is My BFF by Katrocks247
Okay so this is an online book on wattpad. The book has one a ton of awards and is very highly reccomended. This is the the first one of the series so I read it a little while ago, like 2010 or so. Anyways its a super great book and I loved it!
link: http://www.wattpad.com/story/391172-death-is-my-bff
length: 50 parts, 167 pages
link to video trailer(so awesome!): http://youtu.be/MHcxdfwM_d8
authors page: http://www.wattpad.com/user/katrocks247
*also, the author has many more books on her profile and she has a facebook page for the series and a bunch of other fun links on her page too :)
Synopsis: Faith has always been a little odd. But now, things really start to change when death shows up at her door, literally. As Faith trys to avoid Death, it seems he keeps showing up at every corner. But there's something about him, that she just can't resist. Who is the man under the hood? And why does he want her? Death is just trying to do his job, and he isn't going to stop until it's finished.
My Thoughts: I loved this book. Soooo much! Like it was a mix of mystery, fantasy, humor, and just a little touch of romance. It tests the relationships between people and who you can really trust. Death is a hillarious character with a kind of morbid humor. Faith is the sweet girl who just doesn't want to die and doesn't understand what she's done to piss Death off.
Character Insight:
Faith Williams: Faith is just your regular small town girl. Loves her family and loves life. So of course, shes totally suprised when Death shows up at her doorstep asking for her soul.
Death: the super mysterious, sexy, and...flirty? man under the black robe. Creepily hilarious and and of course, always wielding a scythe.
hope you guys liked :) I should have some more posts up today! if there's a specific book you want a review of whether it's online or paper either is fine just leave a comment below! love ya!

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
My Initial Thoughts:
This book was something that really started a change in my taste in reading. I first read this book in 6th or 7th grade, and since then I have read it with every major test (ie. CRCT, IOWA) and have used it for a good handful of book reports. Just the thought, the emotion, and the passion in this book was so jaw-dropping and and utterly irresistible. I loved it and it is definitely my favorite book of all times.
Overview of the Book
So when high school seniors Brittney and Alex are paired up as chemistry partners, everyone expected World War 3 to break loose, but that is so not what happened. You see, Brittney and Alex are from totally different worlds. Stuck in a town that's split in two, and has so many racial and financial prejudices, you'd never expect love to bloom. As Brittney and Alex fall further and further into each other, they realize, maybe they aren't so different after all. Both of them doing anything and everything to protect their loved ones.
Insight on the Characters
Brittney Ellis: Brittney is the girl everyone wants to be; rich, beautiful, perfect house, perfect boyfriend, perfect family, or so everybody thinks. She's built this perfect facade around herself and makes sure nobody tries to break it down. But under her stuck-up demeanor, hides a girl who's trapped trying to keep her parents proud and take care of disabled sister. When Alex comes around and tests the walls of her carefully built facade she can't help but wonder if its for the good or the bad.
Alex Fuentes: Alex is a fiery, passionate, Hispanic bad boy. Pulled into the gang life from an early age, Alex will do anything to protect his family from the dangers of his life. When he meets Brittney, he assumes shes just like every other snow girl, a bitch. Alex couldn't care less about school or the north siders, all he cares about is making it to the next day alive. After he gets paired with Brittney, he decides to have some fun and makes a bet with his friends. Get Brittney Ellis in bed ASAP. But as he gets closer to her and she starts to let her walls fall, he let's his own crumble too and finds himself wanting her more and more, less for her body, and more for her heart.
Honestly, this book still makes my heart sigh when I read it. The love between Alex and Brittney is indescribable and something anybody would die for. Check out the author's website, she has the cutest music video about the book on there and I crack up watching it every time. I would totally recommend this book to anybody.
bye loves!
Well Hi There!
Hey guys!
So some of you may know me from my other blog Glitter and Life, this is going to be my new blog :) I'm super excited to talk to you guys and tell you all about the books that I read, what I enjoy, what you enjoy, and just have fun. This blog will be centered around books, kindle books, online books, book books, and just whatever else I read and want to share with you guys. I read on sites called Wattpad, Mibba, Quotev, Fictionpress, Quibblo, and Quizilla. All of these are websites where pretty much anybody can write anything. I love these sites because they're books written by people around my age and up and I can't help but feel more connected to the book and the author cuz I'm like 'wow, this author really knows what she's putting in her book, she gets it cuz she actually goes through this stuff too!' Like it just makes me super happy.
A little more background on myself:
Ever since I first learnt how to read, I've loved it and was reading way above my grade level and I could never put a book down. I've actually had past experiences where I got in trouble for reading so much during class instead of listening to the teacher :) As a child I loved reading the Magic Treehouse series, Goosebumps, and Junie B. Jones. Just a warning, I do read more girly books, hence the name of this blog, I like romance, paranormal romance, and stuff like that. Every once in a while I'll find a book that I really enjoy that's not totally centered around romance and goes much deeper. In 6th, 7th, and 8th grade I won the top reader awards in my school, my totals all around 50,000 to 100,000 pages per year. As the prize I was awarded with an Ipod nano 5th generation with an engraving on the back, a Kindle Keyboard (which i had been pining over but couldn't get on my own seeing as it retails for 139$) and last year a Kindle Fire. So that's just some incentives to read that I always tell people who say reading is stupid or boring or pointless. At points my parents have threatened to take away my books because I would skip out on chores to read.
uhhh yeah this is gonna be a really fun blog. I'd of course love to hear feedback from you guys and hear what you like to read, what your thoughts on a book were and whatever else you wanna talk to me about :)
later guys! I should have a couple book reviews posted by the end of the night :) love ya babes!
